Change in the Posting of "For Sale", "For Rent" and "For Lease" Signs

The by-law Article VI, Section 6.01j states that "No For Sale, For Rent, or For Lease signs or other window or advertising display shall be maintained or permitted on any part of the Property or any Unit without the prior consent of the Association, provided, however, that the right is reserved by the Declarant and the Association to place or allow to be placed "For Sale" or "For Lease" signs on any unsold or unoccupied Unit."

Under the direction of the homeowners, the Woodbridge Association is no longer allowing any "For Sale", "For Rent", or "For Lease" signs on the property.  Directional signs for open houses can be placed 72 hours before the event both at the front entrance to the property on Ironwood and also in front of the condo open house.  These signs are to be removed at the end of the event.

This was re-instated as of July 1, 2010.  Since that time we have received many responses in favor and against the re-reinstatement.  We would like to thank all those that took the time to share well thought out and heartfelt dialogue.  Based on that dialogue, we are offering a compromise to those who wish to participate.  This is being done in an effort to assist our homeowners that currently are or in the future will have their homes on the market.

As of July 23, 2010, the association will allow the homeowner to place a "Realtor's brochure box" either at the foot of their stairs or in front of their condo immediately next to the wall.  These box may not have the realtor's name on them.  The box must be white or clear and only large enough to hold 8 1/2 x 11 inch flyers and business cards.  The lid to the box may be white, clear or red.  Any boxes not meeting these specifications or placed inappropriately will be removed.

Thank you.

The Rules We Live By Reminders

These rules are designed to make living and ownership in our condominium complex pleasant and comfortable.
Recently, the board has received some concerns.  However, we are fortunate that violations stand out as glaring exceptions.

Nuisances
The unit occupant is responsible for his guests' behavior and decorum at all times and in all areas of the condominium complex.  This includes, but is not limited to, parking areas, pool, clubhouse, individual residences (e.g. TV volume) and common areas.

It is not permitted to dry linens, clothing, curtains, rugs, mops, bathing suits, etc. by hanging or draping such articles on doors, windows, balconies, or patio furniture.  No clothesline or similar device will be allowed to be used outdoors.

Motorcycles and motor bikes are to be used only for ingress to and egress from Woodbridge.  They should always be operated in a quiet and safe manner.

Use your assigned spaces for parking.  Please do not park on sidewalks, in driveways or any other area not designed to be used for parking.  All guests must park in designated visitor parking areas.

You will find these rules are in no way unreasonably restrictive.  In fact, they are no more than we naturally impose upon ourselves as good neighbors.

Thank you.
