Quarterly Homeowner's Meeting

Please join us for our quarterly homeowner's meeting on Thursday, September 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the clubhouse.  Please submit items for the agenda no less than 48 hours before the meeting so we can set the evening's agenda.  We appreciate your cooperation.

Annual Homeowner's Meeting

Please plan to attend the annual homeowner's meeting on Tuesday, June 21 at 6:30 in the clubhouse.  More information, proxy forms, etc. will be forthcoming.  We hope to see you there!!

Protect your valuables!!

Unfortunately, Woodbridge has recently experienced episodes of vehicle break-ins.  Contact the police immediately if you discover that you have been victimized.  We suggest checking with your neighbors to see if anything was seen or heard that may be of assistance to the authorities.  It is also important to notify a board member if you have had a theft.  This will allow the Board to keep the community updated on these type of incidents and hopefully prompt residents to keep a watchful eye on their surroundings.  Additional law enforcement assistance may be sought as needed.  The following are suggestions that may help you avoid being victimized -

• Make sure your vehicle is locked at all times.
• If you have a security system in your vehicle or home, make sure that it is working.
• Do not leave anything of value in your vehicle(s). 
• Turn on outside lights at night.
• If outside light bulbs appear to be burned out, check to see if they have been loosened.
• If light bulbs are burned out, replace them.
• If light bulbs on pole or carport lights are out, please report to the office at 277-7287 or a board member.
• Make sure all entry points of your home are locked at night and when you are absent.
• Lay a security bar, wooden dowel or broom stick in the patio door track so the door cannot be opened.
• Do not leave purses or wallets in view from outside windows or doors.
• Close blinds on windows and patio doors at dusk in order to block views into your unit. 

Take precautions and be alert to prevent crime in our neighborhood!!

Chimney Safety

To help you keep your chimney in safe condition, the Woodbridge Association requires an annual chimney inspection through a local chimney sweeping company of your choice.  If the creosote build-up is less than 1/8”, cleaning is not mandatory.  If, however, the creosote build-up is 1/8” or more, the fireplace must be cleaned before it is used.  The company you employ must submit a certification of inspection and/or cleaning to the Association Office by the deadline of December 1, 2010.

The board has contacted a certified chimney sweep that is willing to come to our community on a specific date, November 15, 2010, to offer his services at a possible discounted rate.

If seven (7) chimneys are serviced here on Woodbridge on November 15^th then he would charge $75 for inspection only and $125 for inspection and sweeping combined for a savings of $25.  If ten (10) chimneys are serviced here at Woodbridge on November 15^th then he would charge $75 for inspection only and $100 for inspection and sweeping combined for a savings of $50.  If less than seven (7) are serviced or the service is scheduled on a day other then November 15^th than his regular pricing would be in effect, which is $75 for the inspection and $150 for inspection and sweeping combined.  Deadline to schedule for the discounted day is November 8.
